It’s time to learn something new! After having mastered the previous lesson, let us move on for another exciting learning journey. In this module, you will analyze simple graphs and interpret their meaning. Let’s do it!
They say that a picture tells a thousand words. Pictures
remember us little things that will remain in our memories forever.
Graphs can also mean as much words as there are in pictures. We
can understand and interpret pictures in a graph to learn more
from it.
What are graphs? Graphs are drawings that show
mathematical information with lines, shapes, and colors. People
use graphs to compare numbers or amount of data. Graphs are
useful because they can be easier to understand than numbers
and words alone.
One of the examples of a graph is a Bar Graph. Bar graph is a
chart that uses bars to show comparisons between categories of
data. The bars can be either horizontal and vertical.
